step 1: Configure a VLAN. You are advised to allocate a dedicated VLAN, for example, VLAN 1000, for the management IP address of the switch on the network.
Configuration command: vlan 1000
step 2: Set an address for the VLANIF interface. Assume that the management VLAN of the switch is 1000, set an address for the VLANIF interface.
Configuration command: interface vlanif 1000ip address 192.168.1.1 24
step 3: Configure the Trunk interface. After configuring the addresses for the management VLAN and management VLANIF interfaces on the switch, the Trunk interface must pass through.
Configuration command: interface g 0/0/1port link-type trunkport trunk allow-pass vlan 1000
