  What Is an Electrodeionization EDI System?


  An electrodeionization EDI system is a water purification technology that combines ion exchange resins,ion-selective membranes,and an applied DC electric field to continuously remove ionized contaminants from water.Unlike conventional mixed-bed deionizers,EDI modules regenerate in situ—the electric current splits water molecules into H⁺and OH⁻,which continuously regenerate the resin without chemical additives.
