How to calibrate the touch screen?

If the password of the system Settings of the Verantone touch screen hardware is lost, you can restore the factory Settings by system initialization. There are four ways to enter the Willenton touch screen touch calibration, operating system initialization can only be done through the dip switch.

For eMT series, MT8000i series, TK series, WT series and other HMIs, there is a set of reset buttons and dip switches behind them. When different modes are switched, corresponding functions can be triggered.

If the touch offset occurs on the HMI or the system password of the HMI is lost, adjust the DIP switch to calibrate the HMI or restore the HMI to factory Settings.

The specific steps are as follows:

1. Switch dial switch 1 to ON, keep other dial switches OFF, and then restart the man-machine interface to enter the touch correction mode.

2. On the Valantone touch screen, display the + cursor. Use the stylus or your finger to click on the center of the "+" cursor (hold the release for about 2 seconds) for five-point correction, i.e., top left, top right, bottom right, bottom left, and center. After all the +'s have been accurately touched, the "plus" cursor disappears. Calibration parameters are retained in the system.

3. After the correction operation is complete, the system will ask the user whether to restore the system setting password of the Verantone touch screen to factory Settings.

4. If you want to initialize the system, press "YES". The system will confirm again whether the user restores the system setting password of Willanton touch screen to out setting. After entering [YES] and pressing [OK], all engineering files and historical data in the HMI will be cleared.

5. After the initialization is complete, the system password of [LocalPassword] is restored to the default password 111111. However, other passwords, including those used for downloading and uploading, need to be re-entered after selecting factory reset in order to properly upload and download items.

6. Long press the screen to enter touch calibration mode.

To start, press anywhere on the screen. If the Verantone touch screen is powered on, the finger graph or "Long press to calibrate the touch screen" will be displayed in the lower right corner of the screen, which supports this function.
